Biography:
Jane Cabbiness is a Charles Town, West Virginia native with deep roots in her community and a passion for justice. She graduated from Washington High School in 2017 and was among the first volunteers for the Jefferson County Teen Court program, sparking her early interest in the law.
Jane earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, in 2021 before returning to West Virginia to attend the WVU College of Law. She graduated in 2025, finishing sixth in her class and earning membership in the prestigious Order of the Coif. During law school, Jane gained valuable experience as a judicial clerk for a federal judge in the Fourth Circuit, as a participant in the WVU Innocence Project Clinic, and as a summer intern with our firm.
Outside of her legal career, Jane has worked seasonally in Harpers Ferry’s restaurant industry since she was 18, where she honed her work ethic, resilience, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Jane is dedicated to using her skills and experience to advocate for her clients and to serve the community she calls home.
